The Ghanaian Football Player Solomon Nyantakyi aged 21, has confessed to killing his mother and 11-year-old sister after he was arrested by the police in Italy on Wednesday morning. The former Parma midfielder murdered his mother and sister with multiple stab wounds on Tuesday afternoon in the family home in Via San Leonardo, Parma.

After hours of interrogation by the cops who stopped him in the Central Station in Milan as he stepped off the train from Parma, he admitted and took responsibility of the crime. The prosecutor is preparing a firm case against him.

The deceased bodies were discovered by their 25-year-old son, Raymond, as he returned home after his shift with an engineering company.

The Italian football legend and current manager of Serie A Side Bologna, Roberto Donadoni, said he remembered Solomon as a quiet lad during their time together at Parma, when Donadoni was the coach.

He said;
“I remember Solomon, he trained with us at Parma and I had him on the bench more than once during Serie A games,” he said.
“I remember he was very calm, even taciturn. If it really was him who did this, I can’t think what went through his mind. He was a midfielder in the Parma youth academy, then I don’t know what path he took after the bankruptcy.”
