Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo aged 23, who signed for Chelsea from Standard Liege in January 2012 and had failed to make it into the first team may leave the club to join Goztepe.
The blues received an offer from Goztepe to sign the defender with two years remaining on his contract at Chelsea. Since signing for Chelsea the defender has been on loan ever since, with his latest spell being with Turkish side Alanyaspor, where he made 26 Super Lig appearances and scored one goal.
The Turkish football club Goztepe are guaranteeing him regular
first-team football. The newly-promoted side are said to have entered
the race alongside Sivasspor to sign the centre-back. Goztepe appears to
be the frontrunners for his signature with their offer being more
attractive.
