A woman in Indiana who confessed to kidnapping her two kids and smothering them to death was convicted Thursday and sentenced to 130 years in jail.
 
Fox 59 disclosed that Golden Pasztor, 30, of Fort Wayne, was sentenced to 55 years for each murder count with an extra 10-years on each charge. Pasztor admitted being sorry for the crime before the sentence was handed down by the Elkhart County judge. 
 
She had pleaded guilty but mentally ill to the two murder counts in a plea agreement.  She will likewise undergo psychiatric health treatment before beginning her sentence.

Investigations revealed that Pasztor snatched her kids Lilliana Hernandez, 7, and Rene, 6, from their custodial grandparents’ home on Sept. 26, 2016. Their bodies were discovered that day inside a car she stole from a previous neighbor, Frank Macomber, 66, who experts believe she killed. The stolen vehicle was stopped behind the Elkhart Police Department, around 70 miles northwest of Fort Wayne.
Fox 59 reports that, Pasztor confessed to police she smothered her kids to “protect them” and “usher them onto paradise,”.

She was additionally charged in September for the shooting of Macomber.
