Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has lauded praise on Chelsea new signing Ross Barkley from Everton in the January transfer window.
Barkley has been on the radar of the Premier League Champions since last summer and Chelsea has finally got their man.
The 24-year-old is yet to make his debut due to injury but the England international was available against Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday and will be hoping to make his first appearance for the Blues.
And Chelsea midfielder Kante has admitted that he is a big fan of Barkley and is backing him to be a great addition to the squad at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to club’s website, Kante said: “He is a good player.
“I played against him when I was at Leicester and in my first season at Chelsea. He has the ability to score.
“He can play in different positions: he is a very good no.10 or no.8. He can help us achieve our target this season.”
Barkley will be hoping to get some quality minute against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
