Armed robbers storm U.I female hostel… makes away with phones, laptops and cash

Two students of the University of Ibadan (U.I), were injured early hours of this morning when armed robbers attacked a female hostel in the institution.

According to Spokesperson of the University, Tunji Oladejo, who has confirmed the incident, the victims have been taken to Jaja Clinic for treatment.

During the robbery operation, which lasted for several hours, the attackers made away with the students’ phones, laptops, cash, and other valuables

The Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Sina Olukolu, has also visited the scene of the incident. Awo hall is one of the most populous female hostels in the University of Ibadan. SO UNFAIR!
